Grammy Nominated Pop Icon Hozier and Bear McCreary Promise a Spectacular God of War: Ragnarok Performance at the Game Awards 2022

So far, the Game Awards 2022 looks very promising. From spectacular guest appearances to groundbreaking game nominations, this year’s show is expected to be a wild ride. But with the latest announcement from the world-renowned musician, Hozier is taking the hype to brand new heights.

Besides massive game announcements and star cameos, The Game Awards is known for its amazing performances. Many big names in the entertainment industry have graced the stage. And this year the bar is reaching new horizons as Hozier has promised to perform his amazing song from Studio Santa Monica’s 2022 masterpiece, God of War Ragnarok.

Hozier and Bear McCreary join the Game Awards 2022

On December 7, Hozier announced the news from his official Twitter account. The tweet confirmed that he will be joining the head composer of God of War Ragnarok, Bear McCreary. They will be performing the hit song from the game, “Blood Upon the Snow”.

Elden Ring Overshadows God of War Ragnarok in Streaming Viewership on Twitch Ahead of the Game Awards 2022

In the tweet, Hozier said, “I’ll be joining the wonderful @bearmccreary for our world premiere performance of Blood Upon The Snow from #GodofWarRagnarok.” Many fans and followers jumped into the tweet’s replies to express their excitement about the upcoming performance of these two maestros.

Other star appearances in the show 

The Game Awards have also dropped announcements about other big stars appearing in the show. These include some of the biggest names in the gaming industry and Hollywood. The ex-president of Nintendo America Reggie Fils-Aimé will return as the presenter with the 007 actors Daniel Craig and filmmaker Rian Johnson.

The main leads of the upcoming Last of Us HBO series, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, will also make an appearance in the show. They will be joined by legendary game actor Troy Baker.

So far it is very hard to say who will lift the award on the night. Initially, the year was dominated by Elden Ring, but during the last quarter, Santa Monica Studios stunned the world with their Magnum opus, God of War: Ragnarok. But one thing we can say for sure, no matter which title wins the accolade, each and every game nominations are brilliant in their own right.
