Sometimes, fans come across news that is both humorous and awestruck at the same time. And what can be better news than fans getting to experience their favorite game in a brand new way? Recently, that’s what happened.

Grand Theft Auto 5 in Cinemas?
The idea may seem a bit far from reality at the moment, but a video surfaced on Twitter recently, which showed GTA 5 running in a virtual theatre. Ben, a Rockstar Games enthusiast, who regularly posts such videos on his Twitter handle, posted this video.

According to him, he downloaded an app from the Quest AppStore and then hooked his computer to a virtual cinema.
This is freaking sick. There's an app on the Quest 2 which lets you hock up your PC in a virtual cinema. I managed to get GTAV running in the cinema, it's so cool. It's a really weird experience and it felt so real.

In this 2 minute clip, he can be seen playing Grand Theft Auto 5, in his Oculus Quest 2 by Meta. After the game, Ben said that the experience made him feel dizzy. This is not surprising because even if someone else would have experienced that for the first time, then they would have felt dizzy too.
It was not made sure on which app he was playing the game. It looked very similar to the Bigscreen Beta app, which is available as an add-on in the Meta store. Although, some fans remembered when one Tumblr user, who used to work in a cinema theatre, managed to play GTA 5 on the silver screen.
An Oculus to another reality!
VR took a huge leap when, in May 2019, Meta released its first Virtual Reality headset, Oculus Quest. The whole gaming and streaming industry changed overnight after the initial release. As people need not go to any real social gathering, eventually helps in surviving a pandemic as well. It was a leap of faith for many and people took it, eventually socializing with the whole world from the comfort of their homes.

Thus, what Ben experienced was not just trippy gameplay, but rather a milestone of human achievement. As, because of such technology, people and friends from around the world can gather together to enjoy quality time. In a virtual cinema, play games like Grand Theft Auto, or watch their favorite movies or series.
