In fact, it hasn’t even come out to share a single word on the game despite the continued urge from fans. They might be desperate, but it looks like Rockstar has now decided to play with their emotions. It has now become evident from the publisher’s recent social media post.

There was something shared by the developer on X (formerly Twitter) recently. And turns out it was a promotional image for an upcoming event inside GTA Online. But, there’s also a not-so-subtle tease for the next Grand Theft Auto as well. It’s so obvious that anyone can figure it out almost instantly!

Did Rockstar just confirm a GTA 6 official reveal for October 2023?

The hype for the new GTA offering is growing each day as everyone is hoping to witness an announcement soon. Still, there’s been no substantial update from the side of Rockstar. Certain speculations have claimed that the developer and publisher may end up dropping the first look next month, which is October.

Well, now it looks like those speculations might be true after all. At least, that’s what a new social media post from Rockstar Games has suggested. The company recently unveiled an image to wish players a great time with an upcoming GTA Online event. It will give them the chance to earn the ‘Red Happy Moon Tee’.

More than the event itself, however, what’s important to note is a certain symbol on the left side of the image. As one can clearly see, there’s a roman numerical VI – simply impossible to miss. But what does that mean?

Is Rockstar actually teasing something related to GTA 6? Or is it just another way to troll die-hard fans who are waiting impatiently for a much-needed reveal trailer? Well, that’s something yet to be seen.

What to expect from the next Grand Theft Auto’s story?

10 years since the release of the most successful title in the franchise, GTA V, fans have been waiting for the next title. And regarding GTA 6, Take Two Interactive’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick did say this:

“I think that’s a challenge that the people at Rockstar face every time there’s a new iteration of Grand Theft Auto. It needs to be something you’ve never seen before. On the one hand, it needs to reflect the feeling that we have about Grand Theft Auto. That’s a big challenge for the team.” He further added, “Now, Rockstar’s answer is just seek perfection; seek nothing short of perfection, and we’ll get there.”

As of now, we do know that the game will have two primary protagonists. While the female character is rumored to be named Lucia, her partner will be called Jason. Other than this, there’s no data available on the actual storyline.

Yes, various theories have been revolving around the plot, but one should simply avoid them. It’s better to take them with a grain of salt unless there comes a word from the makers themselves. Speaking about features, GTA 6 is expected to have tons of improvements. Several reports have claimed that there will be a dynamic weather system, better police mechanism, and more ways to commit crime across the city.

Coming back on the topic of an official revelation, Rockstar is yet to unveil a proper update. If the latest post on X is anything to go by, the next month might be lucky for all the gamers. For now, it’s time to wait and watch.
