The past few years have been a disaster in Rockstar‘s community as fans are exhausted by the delay of GTA 6. The franchise promised the game soon but has been tight-lipped about its details. This led avid data miners and leakers to crack open every file, rumor, and information that could link to this iconic title. However, none of them could be as successful, leading to less credible leaks.

Still, they haven’t given up on their mission to find at least one detail that could set the mood, let alone fire up some hope in the community. So today, we have an eagle-eyed fan that states a possible theory of the revival of an iconic character in GTA 6.

A devoted GTA 6 fan drops an interesting theory about Dr. Friedlander

Apparently, the Twitter user pointed out that Rockstar made the Doctor a part of GTA Online, dedicating a whole mission. Under the name ‘The Last Dose,‘ players have to partner up with Dr. Friedlander as part of an ongoing drug war. To jock your memory, the character stands as Michael’s therapist in GTA 5‘s main story, so we hope, that’s clear.

In the GTA Online mission, players are challenged to win the war, while the iconic doctor shares the plan with them. Surprisingly, he has plans to run to South America before the war as he’s worried about being defeated. And given that GTA 6 was once leaked as ‘Project Americas,’ Gaming Detective believes the Doctor to have some involvement in GTA 6.

After all, we all know how goofy gaming franchises can get to tease their new games, and what better could be than to drop hints in GTA online? To mention a little more about the Project Americas leak, it was also suggested that the GTA 5 sequel would be based on Vice City, with a spice of the 2013 title. However, there has been no confirmation from Rockstar whatsoever, so it’s still up for speculation.

It is unclear how much importance Dr. Friedlander will have in GTA 6 as he was a side character in the previous one. Given that the upcoming game would star two protagonists, it is hard to believe the doctor to be one!
