Rockstar Games’ team is really trying to keep details about GTA 6 highly secretive. Although the company went through a nightmarish incident last year with the biggest leak on the project, it has still managed to contain a lot of the damage. Currently, the developers are yet to drop any official announcement.

While most of the fans are waiting for the arrival of the first reveal trailer, there are a few of them who want the next title to have an additional gameplay mode. Interestingly, this special mode is connected to another blockbuster Rockstar franchise, Red Dead Redemption.

GTA 6 players want an Undead Nightmare DLC featuring Zombies

For those who are not aware, the first RDR title received a DLC back in 2010. Being a standalone expansion pack, it provided a non-canonical Zombie-based single-player experience. Although it had nothing to do with the game’s main storyline, players could use characters from the Campaign itself. This expansion also had two Multiplayer modes with cosmetic additions to the overall environment and key characters of the single-player story.

Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare was set in an alternate timeline from the base game’s plot. It followed the returning character of John Marston. In the DLC, he sets out to find the cause and cure for a zombie plague. Eventually, Marston was able to free the town overrun by the undead. While doing so, he also helped the NPCs in various side quests.

Now, fans of the Grand Theft Auto series want an Undead Nightmare DLC for the next main open-world installment. Recently, a Reddit user known as FitCardiologist3003 took to the social platform to express their wish for Zombies in GTA 6. One can have a look at their post below, urging the devs to add content similar to RDR’s Undead Nightmare.

Doing this won’t be a difficult task for Rockstar. The developer can come up with such a mode for GTA 6 in the same way it created a zombies-themed experience for 2010’s Western open-world action-adventure title. According to the Reddit post, it can introduce zombies in a way reminiscent of Shaun of the Dead and Return of the Living Dead. Both these movies had humorous elements despite having a survival-horror plot.

Moreover, the post also proposes the idea of an online mode in GTA 6 Undead Nightmare. This will allow players to enjoy the game with their friends. GTA 6 is yet to get a release date and an official teaser trailer. Are you hyped for its debut whenever it comes out? Let us know in the comments.
