While Take-Two Interactive did not explicitly mention the GTA series in their report, a closer examination of the statistics provides a clear picture. Take-Two’s net bookings in the past fiscal year reached an all-time high of $5.3 billion, marking a significant milestone. This achievement was due to the contributions of Zynga, which Take-Two acquired the previous year. Prior to the acquisition, their net value stood at approximately $3 billion.

It’s hard to imagine any other franchise, or even multiple new games combined, doing these kinds of numbers. But in the end, all these speculations and theories are solely based on fan opinions, as they have released no official statement to support these theories.
