The 20 years of Xbox and Halo saw the gaming giant making a surprise announcement, as Halo’s latest iteration entered open beta worldwide.

The studio had already announced that the title will feature free-to-play multiplayer and it has been released for the community. Naturally, the community flocked to the steam and immediately download the game. Steam saw a record-breaking number of players flocking to the game.

Halo’s decision to go free-to-play will open doorways for newer fans to hop into the game. This will bring more fanbase to the title, exposing the legend of MasterChef to a wider audience.
