Halo Infinite is one of the big exclusives that is going to launch later this year. While we do know a few critical aspects of the game, Halo Infinite’s campaign mode has largely been a mystery. But that might change today.

Xbox and Microsoft have announced that players will get a brief look at Infinite’s campaign mode for the first time. We already have seen a glimpse of the Battle Royale mode and some other features of Halo Infinite, but there’s not much information about what Master Chief’s journey will look like.

Xbox set to reveal some aspects of Halo Infinite campaign mode

In their recent tweet, Xbox shared that they will be sharing the campaign gameplay overview of Halo Infinite. The video will go live at 2 PM UK time or 9 AM US time. You can watch the gameplay overview in the video above.

Here’s what the official description of the video says:

“The Banished have defeated UNSC forces and taken control of the mysterious Zeta Halo, threatening the survival of humankind. When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief returns to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced.”

What are the expectations from the campaign mode?

Halo Infinite is the show stopper to the star-studded lineup of exclusives that Xbox and Microsoft have planned for this year and beyond. The game already has seen one delay and players will hope the game looks and feels brand new as well as polished.

The Battle Royale mode of the game has done well and players will have the same hope for the campaign mode. The game has some large boots to fill and Microsoft and Xbox would want the game to look and feel as good in every aspect as possible. 

Master Chief’s new journey into the unknown and facing the “most ruthless foe” is something all fans of the franchise will be looking forward to in the new gameplay overview video.
