Halo Infinite: 343’s new rule has PC players troubled

The developers have big plans for Halo Infinite and in the second leg of technical testing, 343 is bringing 12v12 Big Team Battles. A total of 24 players in two teams will face each other to which team survives.

The mode is comparable to a quick team match for players looking for a fun short game. All of this sounds good and interesting. PC players wanting to take part in the upcoming technical test weekend for Halo Infinite currently will need other PC players who were members of last week’s test.

The PC players who attended the first week will need to email a friend a code to allow a non-Insider person or player to play Halo Infinite. The whole process looks pretty unnecessary and is also convoluted. The rule will pose a problem to players who don’t have an insider friend or acquaintance to give them a code.

The director Brian Jarrard, in a tweet stated that he and the team are considering different methods to bring everyone in. Brain said, “Note for Steam players – stand by, we are also working on a way to hopefully get more of you in as well.”

Jarrard has assured players that more information about the procedure and ways will be shared in the future.
