The short film starts with a conversation between a father and a son. The father educates his son about the idea of the motivation for celebrating the festival every year. It all started when their ancestors adopted the practice of using fish-shaped lanterns to cover the frequent fires in the village. While they hoped for good weather, the fires never broke into the village by carrying out the festival.

The film then showcases the same kid as a young adult who gets persuaded by his friends to attend the festival in his village and he does so, only after seeing an abstract visual of a big fish lantern. As he reaches home with his friends, greetings are exchanged, and as he goes to meet his father the viewers understand that there exists some friction between the two.

Seeing a structure covered by a cloth, he finds his father the next day on a mountain repairing the covered structure which in reality was a big fish lantern, the same as the visual he sees earlier. We get to know that the fish structure mistakenly caught fire as the son was sticking the candle when the father and son were making it, and as the tensions began after that the son left the house.

Reminiscing on all of this, he lends a helping hand to his father, and the friction between the two eases out into an even closer relationship. Hence, the film sends the message, “Let the light in your heart guide your way home.”
