In the original Spider-Man game, players can play as two characters overall. Peter Parker as himself and Spider-man and players will also get to control Mary Jane for a few missions. During one of these missions, Mary Jane breaks into Oscorp labs and that’s where there are hints to the possible villain for the game.

As it is commonly known, Norman Osborn is a Green Goblin. This might mean that Marvel’s Spider-Man games can expect to have Goblin as a villain in the upcoming game or future games. So far, this is just a speculation that is emerging among fans. Although Norman Osborn plays a huge role in the upcoming game, it is unlikely that we see Green Goblin making an appearance in Spider-Man 2. What Could Be Black Cat’s Role in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

Dr. Curt Connors, also known as the Lizard, will face off against Spider-Man. His questionable methods draw Spider-Man into the conflict. The superhero will stop him in his plans to create a better and more enhanced species. There are also chances of seeing Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin. He may make an appearance after being released from prison. As a crime lord with extensive influence in New York, he could pose a significant threat to Spider-Man.

Harry, Peter’s best friend, has been cured thanks to his father’s work. And is speculated to be Venom in the upcoming game. However, there are hints that he might not be entirely balanced mentally, and the Green Goblin arc might be explored in future installments. This is considering that he isn’t Venom in this title.

While Spider-Man has many enemies, it is not very likely that Green Goblin will be a villain in this game. The focus is completely on Venom, and maybe, in the next game, Green Globin will take the stage. With that said, when are you picking up your copy of Spider-Man 2?
