British YouTube star KSI has a pretty weird sense of humor, and that is one of the reasons that he has such a huge fan following. This was proved time and time over with his videos, where he reacts to Reddit posts that are weird in themselves.

That was the same case when in a video from 2021, he reacted to a post where he was seen making some interesting comments on ‘Black Mermaids’. The video also showcased him reacting to the idea of him being a mermaid himself.

A KSI fan insisted that he became a black mermaid

In his video “I’m Having A Kid?”, KSI was reacting to a number of memes on Reddit from his show “Sidemen”. During the video, he saw a post saying “Which tail should the Lord KSI wear?” after seeing this he started laughing hysterically.

Explaining why he found it so funny, he said, ” I’m laughing so much because this is the girl from 20 VS 1, the Sidemen video. I couldn’t believe that she was actually a mermaid. Like she as her job would be a mermaid, you know holding her breath and going ‘Ay wassup yo I’m half woman, half fish’.”

Notably, he was talking about the sidemen video “20 WOMEN VS 1 SIDEMEN: HARRY EDITION,” where a participant by the name of Amy Blunden, who is a professional Mermaid and YouTuber, said that she wants to see KSI in a mermaid costume. After this, she took it upon herself to make it up to KSI fans and posted a Reddit post showcasing her mermaid costumes.

Thus replying to this, KSI laughingly denied her request because he thought it was a very absurd thing to do. He also pointed out that there are no ‘Black Mermaids’ in conventional media. Notably, this statement was made on March 2021, and Disney’s Little Mermaid live-action teaser came out in September 2022. Thus making it clear why KSI might not have the idea that he is wrong about his take on the conventional media.
