Hazelight Studios’ CEO Reveals How It Takes Two Has Strong Tinseltown Potential

The developer Hazelight Studios launched the iconic title “It Takes Two” in the year 2021 and the community is still talking about this game, even to this date. It’s been a while and the fans still can’t stop enjoying this popular co-op action-adventure game. And soon fans are going to witness this iconic title beyond a video game. It’s true, recently, Hazelight Studios has announced a team-up with the American-based production company, dj2 Entertainment. This collaboration is intended to adapt this iconic gaming title for film and TV.

Moreover, the founder and CEO of dj2 Entertainment said that they are honored to team up with Hazelight Studios to work on this media adaption of this popular game. In fact, the CEO has also stated that they can’t wait to bring all the in-game characters to big and small screens. And the Hazelight Studios manager, Wolontis, mentioned that they are excited about expanding this iconic game beyond gaming.

On the 31st of Jan 2022, this news became a hot topic for the community. In fact, there’s more good news for the fans.

This adaption also includes two popular writers who have been a part of the 2020 release Sonic the Hedgehog movie and its upcoming sequel. These two writers are none other than Pat Casey and Josh Miller.

As of now, there aren’t many official details about this upcoming TV/film adaptation. But it’s likely that Hazelight Studios and dj2 Entertainment will release more updates about this upcoming project in the coming few weeks.

It Takes Two and dj2 Entertainment

The devs launched It Takes Two on 26th March 2021. And this game is available for Xbox Series X&S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. Moreover, this title also won a whopping three awards at The Game Awards 2021, including the game of the year award. This game being a super hit title is not a surprising thing for the gaming community. And one thing to note is not all the gaming titles are worthy enough to get their own TV/movie adaption. But ‘It Takes Two’ is all set to achieve this milestone.
