HBO series The Last of Us is on its way to becoming a successful video game adaptation and getting a feature on Saturday Night Live. The series has evidently broken the curse by putting up a jaw-dropping performance on both, entertainment screens and statistics. The second episode of the series recorded a 22% viewership increase which is the largest jump ever for an HBO Original series.

On top of all the success, the series has evidently benefitted its video game as well. TLOU got an extraordinary boost from its HBO series as its sales on Amazon went higher following the release of its HBO series. This meant the addition of new gamers to the community of TLOU which always becomes a celebration. Talking of celebration, it seems Coldplay and TLOU will soon be collaborating for an episode on Saturday Night Live.

As for The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal, who is playing the role of Joel in the series, is about to come on SNL on February 4. Moreover, he would be accompanied by the British rock band, Coldplay. The Twitter account Naughty Dog Central (@NaughtyNDC) became the propagator of the news.

Naughty Do Central tweeted, “Coldplay has hinted at a possible collaboration with #TheLastOfUs. Next week, both Pedro Pascal and Coldplay will appear on Saturday Night Live.” Therefore, the fans would be able to see the two parties together on SNL and one can only be excited to see what will be unfolded.

One could witness the unveiling of a new soundtrack, a dramatic act, or anything that could be possible. The popularity of the band and the ongoing success of the series makes the collaboration an extravaganza. This piece of news sent waves of excitement to the community.
