He was seen talking on behalf of the team of The Last of Us series. Mazin was thanking the community for receiving the brand-new series with open arms. He said that the team is overwhelmed by the positive responses they got for their hard work.

He further said that he and Bella Ramsey (The actress who plays Ellie) decided to not get much involved in the online remarks of the show. As negative remarks tend to affect them drastically, but Mazin could not hold back when he saw the amazing positive remarks the show was getting.

He thanked the fans on behalf of Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Neil Druckmann, and others for making the show a hit. He hopes that the fans continue to support them throughout the run of the series.

The series started premiering on HBO Max on 15 January 2023. UK fans can start streaming the survival action drama on 16 January on Sky Atlantic. The episodes will be weekly releases and are expected to have a total of 9 episodes. All episodes would be around an hour long.
