One of the most popular and fan-favorite adventure survival action games is The Last of Us. Developed by Naughty Dog, Last of Us was released in 2013. The players fill the boots of Joel, a smuggler who is tasked to escort Ellie, a teenager across the US in a post-apocalyptic world.

The third-person game became an insane hit among the gaming community and the developers released a second part. Moreover, there is a series being developed by HBO which is based on the game. Amidst this, an HBO showrunner took a dig at other video games.

HBO is developing the live-action series of the fan-favorite game Last of Us; amidst this, an HBO showrunner took a dig at video games. According to Canadian YouTuber and video game analyst, Matt McMuscles, the showrunner said that ‘video games are not that accessible and people had to turn to Channel 3.’

This statement has sparked a debate in online communities. Video games are known to have some excellent storylines. The adaptation of many video games into movies or series franchises is a prime example of this.
