Adaptations of video games have become increasingly common in today’s age. With rich narratives and beautiful storylines, these adaptations have everything they need to create a blockbuster content piece. As The Last of Us show was released, Pedro Pascal’s acting as Joel took the Internet by storm. Not just that, he also showed his funny side, appearing in a comedy show most people know about!

Things certainly seem to be looking up for the TLoU actor. On one hand, he is preparing for the second season of the acclaimed show. On the other, he just received a nomination for the Emmys, among other artists, in the guest host category for his work with SNL.

Saturday Night Live is one of the premier comedy shows in the world. With a wide range of actors who make an appearance on the show, it has been an entertaining show to watch for fans. Pedro Pascal performed on the show, as a guest host, during Season 48 Episode 12, airing on February 4, 2023.

It seems it was not only fans who loved Pascal’s work on the show. His name was among the considerations for the Emmys, under the category of guest hosts.

During his time with the show, his skits were loved among his fans. In a skit titled ‘Lisa from Temecula’, the actor is narrating a story to his fellow diners. Based on the premise that it is a faux pas to order well-done steak at a fancy restaurant, one diner has none of it and orders steak well-done. The skit revolves around the diners proceeding to eat normally while one diner tries to cut through her steak.

The funniest moment came when Pascal takes over. As he is narrating his story, the table begins to shake as the diner still tries to cut into her food. It was one of the rare moments that actors broke character, breaking out into laughter. Even Pascal could not hold it together, with a wide smile across his face!

Following this nomination, fans celebrated Pascal’s numerous skits with SNL, as he participated in a version of Family Feud, as well as a small satirical bit of the Mario Bros. story. Pascal is famously known for his work as a Mario brother!
