In January, MrBeast appeared on Lex Fridman’s podcast. To this, MrBeast talked about his CEO James and how he accompanies him to study Jimmy’s decision-making. Jimmy said, “He literally lived with me for a couple years. He continued by saying that he would allow him to live with him, hear his phone call by keeping it on speaker, and usually talk seven hours daily on an average for two years. On his reasoning to do so, he said, “Really just training his brain to think like me. So that way he could just do things without my input, without me having to constantly watch over him or give him advice, and that’s where we’ve gotten. So for the first six months, he didn’t do anything, he just studied me, and studied everything I cared about, and how I spoke, and blah blah.”

Concludingly, MrBeast said, “And then, the next six months, he started taking on some responsibilities. And now he can just run the company and I don’t ever really have to check in on him.” Assuring that most of his decision replicate Jimmy’s, he put forward his understanding of cloning.
