In the recently wrapped ‘The Streamer Awards’ curated by QTCinderella, the newly crowned king of Twitch, Kai Cenat won the award, ‘the Streamer of the Year!’ yet again. After completing his historical ‘subathon’ that broke all the previous records on the platform, Kai doubled down and bagged the biggest award of the night. 

In the same year, Kai hosted the insane marathon stream that raised him to the top of the chart and was also deemed the ‘streamer of the year’ beating some of the top dogs of Twitch, such as xQc, Hasanabi, and Jerma. The 21-year New Yorker is currently the biggest name in the online streaming scene

In the final piece for The Streamer Awards 2023, fans and creators held their breath. As the bracket nominated some of the biggest names in the online streaming scene to be honored with the Flagship title of the event and bestow them the golden Pepe the Frog for their contributions and ingenuity in terms of producing content.

Moroccan-Canadian streaming icon Imane Anys aka Pokimane came to the stage, rocking her majestic white dress, to announce the winner. The nominations for the title were Kai Cenat, Jerma, xQc, and HasanAbi. Poki opened the envelope and announced Kai Cenat was the victor.

However, Kai wasn’t able to be present at the event, but his friends, as well as other AMP-affiliated creators, including Agent 00, accepted the award on his behalf. Agent said, “a lot of people have reasons to doubt him (Kai) coming on to Twitch. But over the last year, he has really demonstrated what it’s like to be an entertainer, in every definition of the word. I think he has shown us what’s possible.”

The fans celebrated their favorite streamer’s win

On Twitter, the official account of The Streamer Awards 2023 wrote, “HE HAD AN INSANE YEAR!! BECAME THE BIGGEST STREAMER ON TWITCH, AND NOW @KaiCenat HAS WON THE STREAMER OF THE YEAR!! MASSIVE W!! CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT’S IN STORE FOR NEXT YEAR.”

The fans poured into the replies of the tweet to shower their love on Kai and congratulate his “Big W” and let him and everyone know who the “GOAT” is.
