In recent times, Kick has hit the headlines for ushering in a new era of streaming options. Some of the biggest names in the business have left Twitch to go aboard the green platform. Now, Kick’s CEO delves into the possibility of the “Two-Timer” Dr Disrespect coming under the fold.
Twitch‘s policy updates are causing a lot of annoyance among content creators and Kick is looking to make the most of it. Over the recent months, Kick offered some jaw-dropping deals to streamers like xQc. Kick CEO Eddie recently revealed that Dr Disrespect might eventually end up streaming there as well.

In a recent interview, Kick CEO talked about such a possibility and hinted that such a move might be more likely than what fans think. Eddie said that Kick is talking to “everyone” about the possibilities of joining hands and pushing the streaming industry to new heights.
On being asked if the enthusiasm for streamers to come over to Kick has slowed down, Eddie mentioned that creators understand the possibilities that Kick presents. Naturally, the topic of the two-time Blockbuster Video Game World Champion Dr Disrespect also came across and Eddie talked about exciting opportunities.

Eddie believes Dr Disrespect is someone who the platform considers as a “pillar of live streaming” and wants to collaborate in the future. He said that Kick wants the PUBG streamer and the Doc also wants to be on the platform, claiming, “he wants us.” While he didn’t exactly mention that Dr Disrespect has taken the decision just yet, Eddie thinks the news is going to happen “eventually.”
Dr Disrespect received a permanent ban from the Purple platform
Dr Disrespect was among the most-followed streamers on Twitch. His over-the-top persona was a hit among his fans and his in-game skills made him all the more popular. However, in 2020, days after signing a multi-million dollar contract to continue streaming on Twitch, the Doc was permanently banned from the platform.

Dr Disrespect took to social media to highlight that he wasn’t made aware of such a decision and he had to find things out the hard way. While the reason for the ban still remains a mystery, fans look forward to the Doc returning to another dedicated streaming platform sometime soon.
