It has become a sore thumb for many streamers, like Pokimane, and HasanAbi, who actively raise their voices against gambling on stream. Recently, Poki shared her thoughts about Adin Ross.

Adin Ross is an American streamer on Twitch who rose to the spotlight playing video games like NBA 2k, call of Duty series, and Fortnite. Later, he started hosting sponsored gambling streams. Moreover, his popularity further skyrocketed, when he started streaming with the controversial former kickboxer, Andrew Tate.

Pokimane and Mizkif question Adin Ross’s content choice

The whole Twitch is only talking about the Sliker controversy for the last two to three days. The entire Twitch community is stunned to know how the English streamer, Sliker, borrowed hundreds of thousands of dollars from streamers and fans for gambling. This mind-blowing controversy again puts gambling streams in the spotlight.

The Twitch Queen Pokimane, and fellow streamer, Mizkif, recently discussed this controversy on the latter’s channel. The duo has been the active voices against gambling on the platform since it started. Mizkif even shared about meeting Twitch officials to discuss permanently banning gambling-related content.

Further, Mizkif also talked about Adin Ross, one of the most viewed Slot streamers. Matthew Rinaudo or Mizkif claimed that Ross could have “Two to three times,” more followers than his current numbers if he hadn’t diverted to slots and gambling. Hearing this, the Twitch Queen agreed and said, “Probably more.”

Mizkif further talked about what Ross did before moving to Slots streams. Rinaudo said, “He was hanging out with rappers; he was doing a ton of s**t. He was working hard, started gambling, and then he kind of just stopped doing s**t as much. I think it affects a lot of streamers like that.”

Poki asks Twitch to ban gambling

Imane Anys, popular as Pokimane, has asked Twitch to ban gambling in multiple locations. After the Sliker controversy, she tweeted, “Like if twitch should ban gambling.” Some streamers like HasanAbi and fans agreed with her tweet. Further, the tweet currently has over 293.7 thousand likes.
