Xbox fans are having the time of their lives right now. With Microsoft‘s takeover of Activision-Blizzard, a plethora of titles are coming to the Xbox store in the coming days. One of the key concerns of Xbox gamers in recent days is pondering over whether CoD titles will be coming over to the Xbox Game Pass anytime soon. While that isn’t on the horizon just yet, another recently launched game might be available through the Xbox FreePlay Days and fans look to make the most of it.

Xbox users can access Diablo 4 for a limited time

Xbox is on a roll right now. The company has acquired Activision after a long legal feud with the FTC and now looks to make an array of Activision-Blizzard titles for its fans. Activision has an impressive list of franchises under its belt and the prospect of those coming under Microsoft’s wings is titillating for the fans. Now, players get a chance to play Diablo 4 for free during the Xbox FreePlay Days over this weekend (Oct 19 – Oct 22). While the gameplay is limited to 10 hours, the option to try out the game might be just the thing that some fans need to finally get around to purchasing the game.

Diablo 4 follows the timeless narrative of the fight between good and evil. The story is captivating and Lilith poses as a formidable foe that needs to be taken down by players. Blizzard reported earlier this year that it doesn’t have plans to make the game available on the Xbox Game Pass by 2023, but the next year may offer more opportunities for both the involved parties.

Diablo 4 just received its Season 2 patch update. The Season of Blood content reportedly brings in new classes and a vampire-focused adventure that looks to keep the game engaging for the fans. Now, players can check out the game as they wait for Diablo 4 to finally arrive on the Game Pass. Along with Diablo 4, Xbox users can also get to play Hooko Life, Lawn Mower Simulator, and NBA 2K24 during the FreePlay days.

Xbox Game Pass levied more importance by Microsoft

The Xbox Game Pass is among the most-subscribed cloud gaming services in the world. Microsoft estimates the service to generate close to $8 billion in revenue by 2030. Furthermore, Microsoft and Xbox CEO Phil Spencer believes that unless the Gamess Pass subscription numbers grow enough by 2027, the brand might need to exit the gaming industry altogether.
