Now these phones will not come cheap. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max versions are the biggest talking points in terms of price, especially since they are the premium devices in the range. The iPhone 15 Pro will retail at $999. iPhone 15 Pro Max will be more expensive, coming in at $1199.

The biggest talking point about these phones, for most people, has been the shift to a different charging port. Due to EU regulations, Apple had to switch out the lightning ports to USB-C ports. However, for most gamers, the change in the charging port became insignificant when they heard about the device’s gaming potential.

Apple is set to shake up mobile gaming

From the reveal event of iPhone 15 Pro, fans understood one thing. Apple was not messing around when it came to the rumors about gaming on the new devices. The event confirmed the arrival of major triple AAA titles on the new iPhone range, such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage. That is not the only game coming to the platform.

Titles such as the Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village, as well as Death Stranding, are all poised for a 2023 release. Mirage will come in 2024. However, what makes it impressive is the newest Assassin’s Creed game will come with ray-tracing.

Contrary to popular belief, the games are not going to be accessible through cloud streaming. In fact, cloud streaming did not even come up with the topic of games. These games will be natively available on the latest iPhone series including iPhone 15 pro all thanks to the A17 Pro bionic chip. Because of the chip’s hardware-accelerated ray-tracing capabilities, gamers can experience a new level of graphical quality when it comes to mobile gaming.

It certainly sounds like a step up when it comes to gaming on a device that fits in your pocket. What is even more promising for gamers is the potential for Apple to improve this in the future. This sounds like truly exciting times for mobile gaming!
