Riots Games’ classic FPS Valorant has been a major inspiration for competitive eSports tournaments all across the globe. Being one of the most popular action games in the past few years, Valorant has established a community of its own. Moreover, with the inception of the Valorant Champions Tour, a lot of streamers have made their way into the bigger leagues.

Sentinels, the popular North American eSports organization, is known for its Valorant roster. While the roster has a star-studded lineup, TenZ enjoys most of the fan spotlight. Arguably, the streamer is currently the best Valorant player in the world. Amidst the speculations running around TenZ’s future with the Sentinels, an official update by the organization has left the fans delighted.

TenZ, the Sentinels Valorant pro had been a prominent face in the team’s roster. However, the streamer’s contract association with the North American team was going to expire. Losing TenZ would have been a huge loss for the team.

He is one of the few Valorant professionals who plays Yoru in the VCT. Sentinels earned a fourth-place finish in his last match with the Japanese duelist versus 100 Thieves in the VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifier.

Following the phenomenal success of this year’s VCT, the scale for the next Americas Valorant Tour is expected to hop to another level. Thus, there were constant rumors about the streamer’s future in the red jersey. 

Well, Sentinels announced the star’s homecoming, and how? On September 9, the North American Esports Association shared a skit on social media. In the clip, content creator Tarik made an appearance on a trimmed episode of the reality television program Shark Tank to ask for funding for Sentinels. TenZ will continue to work with Sentinels, according to the video.

Although the video did not make a specification of TenZ’s role in the upcoming schedule, it had some hilarious references to Sentinel’s recent financial crisis. The video attempts to take a sarcastic dig at the issues as the sharks address the financial struggles of Tarik’s ‘company.’
