As reported by VGC, actor Norman Reedus, who portrayed the character of Bridges in Death Stranding, recently had an interview with a digital publication. In that interaction, he surprised everyone by sharing the information on his next project. While talking about Kojima Productions, he said that he had just started the second one.

Apart from this line, he didn’t say anything else but it was enough to raise the eyebrows of many gaming enthusiasts. Without a doubt, it acted as an indication for Death Stranding 2.

Hideo Kojima’s tweet hints major leaks

However, it was Hideo Kojima’s tweet, after Reedus’ claim in his interview, that, in a way, solidified the possibility of a sequel. While acknowledging what the actor said, Kojima indirectly revealed something about the next game in his tweet by telling this to Norman:

“Go to your private room, my friend,” he wrote.

In case if anyone is unaware of the term, private room is the section in Death Stranding where Norman’s protagonist goes every time to take rest and prepare for new orders.

Now, this tweet could be a big hint toward the future of the franchise going forward. It might be the case that Hideo Kojima has already begun working on Death Stranding 2. Probably that’s the reason why he asked Norman to go to the “private room”. What else could this mean anyway?

Still, there’s no official confirmation just yet so one should take everything with a grain of salt. Hopefully, the Metal Gear Solid creator will soon come up with an announcement from his side.

What are your thoughts on this story? Do you think a Death Stranding 2 is actually happening?
