It’s been 4 years since Kojima Productions released Death Stranding, the best-selling physical game in Japan. Although the game is now 4 years old, many fans of the game still enjoy putting hours into its gameplay. On the 4 year anniversary of the game, the lead developer Hideo Kojima shared a heartfelt message with all the fans on Twitter.

This message was a warm expression of gratitude towards everyone who had wished him and his team congratulations for the 4th year anniversary of the game. In the touching post, Kojima shared some words about his experience with creating the game and fans were left in awe.

In the post on Twitter, Hideo Kojima spoke about how the last 4 years have been for him. He said “I do not know if these four years have been long or short. The world and our daily lives have changed a lot in these four years, including the global environment.” By this, he was referring to the global pandemic that everyone was affected by. In the message, he mentions the pandemic and goes on to share how the team managed to launch the PC and DSDC versions.

Kojima explained that the team worked through the pandemic to make sure all the fans had fun playing the game irrespective of the platform they were on. The developer said that he reminded everyone that the game would also be available on the Mac from December 2nd.

With Gamescom 2023 Nearing, Hideo Kojima Teases Death Stranding 2 Related Announcement in a Cryptic Tweet
