Tweet from Death Stranding 2 director stirs the community

In a recent tweet from Hideo Kojima, he shared an image of a Funko Pop! figure of actor Jordan Peele; along with the words “Phew”. However, what caught the attention of fans was happening in the background of the picture.

In a blurred-out background, fans could spot editing software used to create videos. Furthermore, it also looked like Kojima had finished working on a substantial part of that project.

This cryptic tweet from the game director has since gone viral on the internet, with over 55,000 fans watching it. It has also given a boost to rumors about a new Death Stranding 2 trailer. On August 14, Kojima shared a cryptic tweet stating, “It’s been a while since I’ve used this editing machine.”

Now, after 20 days, his new tweet has showcased a semi-finished project in the background. While it cannot be stated with certainty that he is working on a Death Stranding 2 trailer, many factors are pointing that to be the case.
