The 58-year-old creator has already stated that he is a massive fan of movies and draws inspiration from them. In his nearly 4 years with the industry, the remarkable developer has birthed groundbreaking franchises that redefined various genres.
Franchises like Silent Hill, Metal Gear, and the legendary Death Stranding title of the modern era have also acquired a special place. This latest project saw the creator teaming up with iconic mainstream Hollywood actors in Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus.
In his recent tweet, Kojima once again broke the internet, sharing his thoughts related to Tom Cruise’s Top Gun.

Fans began to speculate that the duo might be secretly working together for a future project, but the rumors quickly died down. Now the latest tweet regarding Hollywood’s biggest superstar, Tom Cruise, has fueled the speculations once more.
This could essentially mean that Kojima is either targeting a team up with Tom Cruise or it’s that the next major title will draw inspiration from Top Gun. It is really hard to speculate what the creator is planning to do next, as he really plays everything close to his chest.
