Developer Avalanche has addressed the question of whether there are romantic possibilities in the game by describing relationships and offering a list of potential partners or more so let’s call them friends.

These friendships and connections with others have been addressed more so than romantic ones, with Ron and Hermione serving as Harry Potter’s backup.

The list of confirmed friends and relationships for Hogwarts Legacy thus far is as follows:

• Poppy Sweeting–Hufflepuff
• Sebastian Swallow–Slytherin
• Amit Thakkar–Ravenclaw
• Natsai Onai–Gryffindor

So what is the real answer?

Your character is permitted to go on missions with up to two friends. Additionally, each companion will have at least one loyalty quest that is exclusive to them, strengthening your friendship with them and paving the way for complete engagement.

Fans of Harry Potter are aware that no two wands are the same since each one has a distinct personality based on the tree and creature they crafted it from. In a similar vein, the friends vary and have character-specific tasks.

However, coming to the most important discussion here, it can be neither confirmed nor denied if Hogwarts Legacy will be having any romantic possibilities until it has been officially confirmed. But there is definitely no harm in hoping for the best! We apologize for raising the hopes of anyone who hoped to be more than simply friends.
