The concept of dungeons is not new to RPG gamers. It has been handed over from game to game over years. The game uses it to its advantage with the Hogwarts wizarding world known for having intriguing spaces. However, one aspect that players tend to get exhausted of is the time-consuming nature of these dungeons. Especially regarding the time taken to crawl back and forth through narrow gaps.

There is an interesting way to cut down the time taken. For this players need to unlock the ‘Swift’ talent from the talent tree. This is a dodge mechanism used in combats, but these come in handy when passing through those narrow spots. Instead of walking while holding Lumos when passing through the Devil’s Snare, players can use the Swift talent to reach the other side swiftly. But for the safety of it, do not un-equip the light spell.

4) Move past doors

Hogwarts Legacy also has a lot of puzzles. One such interesting one is the floor that sucks you into a wall when you walk over it. After it takes you in, it will put you back to the spot where you started. Thus, creating a loop. To bypass these floors and get to the other side is to drop an object on the floor to trick the magical elements in it.

Another interesting way to cross these is to cast ‘Arresto Momentum’ on these floors. The spell would bind the floor in its place paralyzing it for an extended time. You can just walk past these after casting this spell.

3) Secret Hogsmeade Tomb

There are a lot of hidden places within the magical world. Some of these may even seem just a part of the background and non-interactable. Moreover, there is a hidden tomb called “The Tomb of the Villager” in Hogsmeade. Interestingly, this place won’t show up during the daytime.

The entrance is visible during the day but cannot be interacted with. But, if you come at night you can spot a ghost walking around the place and an activated icon on the gates of the tomb.

2) Transfiguration and Dandelion Key

Some interesting features that are hidden within the game can be unlocked with the transformation spell. You will be able to unlock this interesting spell during winter in Professor Weasley’s classes. After completing it, try casting the spell on different animals. The spell would turn each animal into something that is related to their lives. If you cast it on an antler, it will change into an antler barrel, or if you cast the spell on squirrels, it turns them into acorns.

You can even use the spell to make some extra cash after casting it on some animals.

Moving forward, one side mission that you can do is unlock the dandelion keys. A player can either reduce the challenge difficulty of the quest or use a hidden trick. The trick is to slam the key when it appears and keep on slamming it until it’s forced into the keyhole. Apparently, the key would move slightly after each time you slam it onto a cabinet.

1) Skipping Broom Trials and a Secret Entry to Hogwarts

The way to update your broom is to complete the trial tasks which are associated with it. But for some, these seem time-consuming and hard. So, there is a way to easily skip these trials for good. These options are available when you put the difficulty to ‘story’ in the game.

In the broom trial task, if you have this difficulty, the time needed won’t be reduced. But after you fail to complete the task two times in a row, an option will pop up asking you whether you want to skip the trials.

Another aspect that many players were trying to find within the game was trying to land the broom on any roof in the game. But the game doesn’t allow players to do so, and an alert message pops up. The location is the headmaster’s room on the east side of the castle.

Players can reach here via the Viaduct Courtyard travel point. After reaching there, fly high and approach the mentioned place. After getting there, players need to fly into the slope joint of the roof, this somehow allows players to go on the balcony. And as you descend, keep on pressing the unmount key binding, and voila, you would have successfully achieved landing on a school building while on a broomstick.
