Where to get the spells?

The most pivotal and integral part of acquiring these is your acquittance with Sebastian Sallow. He is one of the first people you meet at the school and he belongs to the Slytherin house. If you get allotted to the house, you can find him in the Slytherin common room. Or else you will duel him in the defense against arts class.

The path towards these spells is taken through him as he is trying to cure the curse that befalls his twin sister, Anne. More info on her would be a spoiler, so let’s get on with the spells.

1. Crucio

“In the Shadow of the Bloodline” is the first quest players have to do to ensure their path toward the deadly spells. You will meet up with Ominis Gaunt, a descendant of Salazar Slytherin. You, Sebastian, and Ominis go to the Scriptorium, where Sebastian thinks there is a key to the curse that his sister has.

“In the Shadow of the Study” is the second part of the Crucio mission, from which players can acquire the curse.

The recommended level is 16. Players need to complete a couple of puzzles and in the end, you will get the opportunity to witness the spell. As the last part and to get into the Scriptorium, players need to cast Crucio. You are given multiple choices in this regard. That is, players can decide not to learn the spell, or ask Sebastian to cast it on you and you learn the spell or you cast it on your friend.

2. Imperio

Completing the Crucio missions unlocks the next part, “In the shadow of time”. The recommended level for wizards for this side mission is 17. Players receive an owl from Sebastian talking about a relic that can help Anne.

Players will need to go to a catacomb Sebastian has found in a rather shady place for the mission. The place is a very dark place filled with creatures. You will have to face them and complete making archways with human remains to move further in this mission.

The mission will be an emotional ride for the players. In the end, players will learn the powerful spell Imperio. This surely is one of the most powerful spells in the game.

3. Avada Kedavra

Players will have to wait for a while to play the mission that unlocks this. Complete every “In the Shadow” mission to reach the “In the Shadow of the Relic”. The recommended level is 28. This means that you would get your hands on the spell pretty late into the game.

In the mission, players will have to go back into the catacomb, but this time it’s swarming with enemies. After you witness an incredible scene in the game, which surely is a spoiler so not divulging into it more, you will get to study the deadly Avada Kedavra spell.

Best combos for the deadly spells

In this list of three spells, Crucio is comparatively weaker. The only highlight of the spell is that it slows the enemy down with its pain. Imperio, on the other hand, is a pretty strong spell. You can turn an enemy into an ally for some time with this spell. They will go and fight opponents for a brief moment. There is end number of possibilities to use this to your advantage in the game.

Avada Kadvra is the one-hit KO of the game. It even can one shot kill a giant troll. The best combo to use regarding these spells is to unlock the mastery of the three spells.

This unlocks a powerful combo for the players. The Crucio and Imperio mastery enables players to multiply the curse markers on the enemies. That is, when Crucio is cast, an enemy will get cursed, and using Imperio subsequently, will make those cursed ones spread the curse to others while attacking.

And finally, the Avada Kedvra mastery makes sure that everyone who is cursed is killed. This is a very deadly combo players can try out to defeat hordes of enemies at a time.
