Hogwarts Legacy is taking the internet by storm. The brand-new game based on the wizarding world of Harry Potter was one of the most anticipated games of 2023. And it seems like the game is living up to its expectations. The developers have brought in some exquisite details that ensure a magical experience for the players.

But, it does not mean the game is devoid of bugs. A recent player of the game posted a glitch that they faced while playing the popular title.

Hogwarts Legacy: Sorting hat glitch

The much-anticipated title which explores a fantastic wizarding world has finally opened up for quite a number of players across the globe. Many have been streaming and posting the wonders the game has to offer. Amidst this was a Reddit user named irrelevantreference1. They were playing the game when they noticed a glitch during one of the most memorable parts of the game.

We all cannot forget the Harry Potter Philosopher’s Stone scene where Harry Potter and the Sorting Hat had an interesting conversation. Harry doesn’t want to go to Slytherin even though the Sorting Hat thinks Harry can achieve great deeds from the house. Finally, the Hat agrees to Harry’s will and puts him in Gryffindor.

The same aspect is adapted in the game as well. Yes, it is the Sorting Hat that determines the house of the newly admitted student in the game. But the developers brought the option of will into the game. That is, players can choose certain answers to get sorted into a particular house. Thus, this becomes a memorable moment in the journey of the player.

The Reddit user found the glitch at this time. When the player gets sorted into the house, they get their robes magically converted into their house colors. At this moment, it seems like the robe is breaking the character and is coming through their body and wobbling around. This surely is a funny instance as well.

Most likely the glitch would be patched up soon as Avalanche and Warner Bros have a glitch report system set up. The Reddit user who found the glitch went on to talk about how they enjoyed playing the game for more than 10 hours in total. And this was the first glitch they found through their run in the game. Chances of new glitches getting reported are highly likely, but currently, this is the most noticeable glitch to be reported.

Compared to other major AAA titles released in the past which succumbed to large glitches, Hogwarts Legacy is doing an excellent job of dodging bullets here.
