Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa, better known by her internet moniker Amouranth, became famous for livestreaming under the genres of Just Chating, ASMR, and hot-tub streams. She was even awarded the Best ASMR Streamer Award this year. But surprisingly, the most views she garnered were not from this genre.

Amouranth gets more views when she sleeps

The Twitch star once attended an interview with YouTuber Anthony Padilla. In the interview, Amouranth talked about various topics, from her Twitch streams to her multiple businesses. While talking about streams and viewership, the 28-year-old revealed she gets more views when asleep.

Siragusa started doing sleeping streams for a while. As the name suggests, streamers sleep on the livestreams. It soon became a major hit genre in the streaming community, as many streamers started doing sleeping streams. But Amouranth’s sleeping stream gathered more views than many other streamers on the platform.

“When I’m asleep it’ll spike to 20k,” she said. The streamer continued the interview by saying, “Where are you guys when I’m awake? When I wake up they leave and then it goes back down to 10k.” The interviewer Anthony Padilla was shocked to hear these facts about her getting so many views for just sleeping.

Amouranth further reveals in Padilla’s interview that the viewership of her sleeping stream increases when her alarm is about to ring. She said, “I’ll have like an alarm, and as the time gets closer to the alarm going off, people will just pile in and like what’s gonna happen?”

“I think they’re hoping that I’ll forget that I’m on stream when I wake up and just start stripping or something,” Siragusa believes this could be the possible reason for her sleeping streams getting so many views. Undoubtedly, fans had some high expectations from Amouranth’s sleeping streams.
