The now 30-year-old streamer stated that it is indeed one of his favorite stories to tell. During his usual 10-hour streaming session, his chat informed him that the famous rapper followed him on Instagram, and the rest is history.

From one conversation over the social media app, the duo got together to host the first of its kind of collaboration.

“This is probably one of my favorite stories to tell. My wife and I—one day we— found out from my Twitch stream to my chat…they were just like, ‘Hey man, Drake just followed you. Drake is following you on Instagram.’ I didn’t believe them. We all thought it was a like a lie. I search Drake on Instagram. Nothing came up. His name was ‘Champagne Papi’, I had no idea, so yeah, looked it up, he was following me, I followed him back and that was pretty much it.”
