Although, there are times when his bizarre challenges can turn against him and cost him a fortune. Such has been the case with his latest no-food challenge, where Jimmy would’ve lost his life. Interestingly, the moment also featured culinary master Gordon Ramsay, almost pushing Jimmy into the dark.

Could Gordon Ramsay’s food have cost MrBeast his life?

MrBeast recently undertook a challenge to control his Crohn’s disease. For those uninitiated, Crohn’s disease is a severe condition where the person suffers from a deadly inflammation in his gut. As a result, it is hurtful for them every time they eat food.

Food always passes through our digestive track before going down to the intestines for digestion. So, a person suffering from Crohn’s disease has to go through a severe amount of pain every time they eat.

Jimmy originally planned to go without food for 30 days, as he wanted to challenge his inner self. In fact, he also hired doctors to constantly check his vitals and health condition. During this time, MrBeast continued to finish other projects, as the challenge video featured his time at Videocon.

It was all great till day 14 as MrBeast continued to challenge himself with no food. However, he pulled stops after that, as he was featured in a video alongside Gordon Ramsay. The duo got together to shoot MrBeast’s real-life Willy Wonka Chocolate factory video, released last month. In that, Gordon cooked a delicious burger for Jimmy and his crew, which made the host call quits on his challenge. After all, it is hard to resist food from the culinary master himself.

MrBeast took a single bite of his burger and quickly spat it out for an important reason. In fact, he also mentioned it in two words that only a few could catch. MrBeast could not eat Gordon’s food, because of Refeeding syndrome.

To mention a few details about it, re-feeding syndrome extends to people fasting together for days without food. Refeeding syndrome can be defined as “the potentially fatal shifts in fluids and electrolytes that may occur in malnourished patients receiving artificial refeeding.”

In simple words, it means that a person going without food for days cannot start eating whatever he wants once he’s done fasting. If he opts to do so, it might severely affect his body, as he is not accustomed to intaking such a large amount of calories at once.

So, if MrBeast would have continued to eat Gordon Ramsay’s delicious burger, there were high chances of a deadlier outcome.
