The younger generation might refer to him as the Tesla guy, whereas the millennials know him as one of the founders of Paypal. Yes, you got that right. We’re talking about the richest man in the world, Elon Musk. He is a space fanatic and one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world.

Elon Musk’s attempt at creating a video game

At the age of ten, most children learn to ride a bike, swim, and write efficiently. Elon, on the other hand, had different plans. With his complex understanding of programs, he developed a video game called Blastar. The game was developed using a specific computer, the Commodore Vic-20.

After two years, he sold the code of Blastar to a computer magazine for $500. This is not something the parents of a twelve-year-old would expect. To date, a few people believe he got his powers from his dad, Errol Musk, a South African engineer.

What makes Elon different is his way of looking at things. In various interviews, the billionaire has said that he wants to solve problems rather than create new things. A great example of this would be SpaceX. Musk founded the company to make space travel more affordable and revolutionize the aerospace industry.

The American started his career with Zip2 alongside his brother and later founded X.com and PayPal. Later, he moved on to take over Tesla, one of the most innovative car companies in the world. A handful of other companies are registered under his name, such as SolarCity, Neuralink, and Tesla Energy. He also owns a very bizarre company called ‘The Boring Company.’

Did you know about this? Have you tried your hand at Blastar? Let me know in the comments section.
