The love-hate relationship of Call of Duty and Dr Disrespect continues in 2023 as well. Thanks to the recent release of Modern Warfare 3, with its Early Access, the streamer got yet another chance to express his criticism of the FPS franchise. But what’s the reason behind the popular content creator’s extreme disappointment this time?

It seems like the Campaign experience hasn’t been good for the DOC, at all. Not because he didn’t like it but because he simply couldn’t get to play it. Yes, this happened recently when Dr Disrespect tried to boot up Modern Warfare 3 in all his excitement, only to be left with nothing but an unending loop filled with frustration. Ultimately, the game made him rage quit in a manner like no other.

For more than a year, Doc has been highly critical of COD and its premium releases. There are numerous reasons why he doesn’t play the titles from Activision anymore. He hasn’t been a fan of how the makers have rolled out the installments in an unfinished form, containing unexpected bugs, and irrelevant requirements to do certain things. Moreover, he feels like the classic COD games were the best in the series and the newest titles are just not good enough to keep him hooked.

Still, Dr Disrespect is a person who tries to keep up with the trends. Given that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the newest game right now, he decided to give it a shot as far as the single-player experience is concerned. He thought to play the Campaign, due to having the Early Access by pre-ordering it. However, it didn’t take him long to come back to his anti-COD mode.

“How the f*** do I play this game? How?”, said Dr Disrespect after failing to open the Campaign despite making infinite attempts. As one can see in the clip below, the streamer was somehow unable to enter the game menu. It just kept on relaunching for no valid reason.

When he realized he couldn’t do it anymore, the Doc eventually quit. Not to mention that his anger level was beyond the limits. It’s quite weird to see why the extremely popular streamer was just not able to start the Campaign. One can only describe it as a rare instance when a game fails to respond in a mysterious fashion like this.

But one thing is now absolutely clear going forward. Dr Disrespect will not likely touch any new Call of Duty no matter how good it is. Especially, after going through his latest experience with Modern Warfare 3’s Campaign. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how he reacts to the upcoming Multiplayer launch next week. Will he opt for it or not? Only time will tell the answer.
