He was one of the famous characters and he had etched a special spot in fans’ hearts. So much so that Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans also found a way to honor him.

This 2020 Nintendo Switch game is famous for letting players explore their imagination to develop the in-game deserted island. Many fans take inspiration from various sources like Movies, TV shows, and video games to build their island. And Harry Potter is one such series where one can find many themes. One such fan took inspiration and build Hagrid’s Hut in the game.

Hagrid’s Hut finds its way in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Mori Crossing is a famous ACNH content creator with 5.3K subscribers. She is renowned for creating amazing Dream Islands, and one of such builds was the Harry Potter Island. The YouTuber planned to make her entire Dream Island themed after the Harry Potter Universe.

It’s impossible to build an island based on the ‘Potterverse’ and not have the famous Hagrid’s Hut. Hagrid has been an important character throughout the series, and so did his house. The player chose Deirdre’s house for the build, as it looked similar to the half-giant’s hut in Hogwarts.

Later, the player took a lot of inspiration from the third Harry Potter movie, The Prisoners of Azkaban. In the third installment, Hagrid had lots of pumpkins around his house. So the player used various pumpkins to decorate the area and create a pumpkin farm like in the movie.

The player also planted Pinecone trees to create a vibe similar to the Forbidden Forest entrance near Hagrid’s Hut. Further, Mori also added an axe to replicate the scythe, which was kept near the half-giant’s hut to execute Buckbeak, the hippogriff. After some more tweaking and adding a few more pumpkins and tools, it started looking like Hagrid’s Hut.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Harry Potter fans both loved to see the home of the Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts. They praised Mori for creating this beautiful creation.
