The first question that every CS fan has is how to gain access to this Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test. Currently, this test access is now only available to limited players, but it would be increased over time.

But Valve has revealed there would be many factors affecting the selection of players for this Limited Test, like their recent playtime on the official servers, trust factor, and Steam account standing.

Now players might wonder how they will get to know that Valve has selected them for the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test. So all they need to keep an eye on the notification center in their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

If CS: GO players receive an invitation, they must click “ENROLL” to begin the download. To play the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test, they must run CS: GO and pick the “Limited Test” option once the download is complete.

How frequently would Valve add new players to the test?

As mentioned above, for now, only selected players depending on certain conditions would get the opportunity to play the limited test for CS 2. But the other fans of this game series shouldn’t be sad, as, with time, more players will be added to the Limited Test.

The Counter-Strike players are also advised to keep checking their CS: GO main menu to see whether they have received an invitation for the Limited Test or not.

What modes would be available in this test and how long will it last?

With the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test, players would first be able to play Deathmatch and Unranked Competitive matches on Dust II. However, future Limited Tests will give access to more game modes, maps, and other new features.

Valve hasn’t revealed any end date for this ongoing Limited Test. However, the game is set to be made available for everyone in the Summer of 2023.
