In short, moderators are an essential part of the streams. It might lead many to think that streamers might be close to their mods. But that is not always the case. The Twitch streamer Emiru revealed that she can’t be friends with her moderators.

Why isn’t Emiru friends with her moderators?

The 24-year-old once appeared in an interview with the Noodle Shop Podcast show. There she talked about many things, but the interesting revelation was her not being friends with her moderators. However, she didn’t always have this reaction toward the mods.

Emiru shared that previously she was close to her moderators and even hung out with them. But she claimed her closeness to them always led them towards doing “something f**king unhinged.” So, she stopped being friends with them and maintains a professional relationship.

After Emiru said, “I cannot be friends with my mods,” the interviewers agreed that it’s not easy to be friends with moderators. However, they also claimed that her being a female streamer makes it harder to get close to them.

As Emiru claimed in the interview earlier that her getting close to mods led to them doing ‘insane’ things, one of those things happened when she joined the OTK. It is known to most that Emiru’s popularity skyrocketed after she started hanging out with Mizkif and OTK members.

She shared what a female mod did after she became friends with Mizkif. She said, “That mod really did not like that. She went out of her way to find people that were Mizkif viewers and perma-banned (permanent ban) them in my chat behind my back.” Later, she removed that female mod after knowing about her actions.
