PewDiePie is well-known for Let’s Play and reaction videos. But aside from his entertaining content, what helped him be at the top was him regularly uploading videos on the platform. That isn’t the case anymore, as he no longer uploads regularly like he once was. His irregularity has slowed down his growth, leading many fans to call his channel “dead.”

Last year he attended the Trash Talk podcast, where he was asked if he retired from content creation. He claimed that he’s been making YouTube videos for a decade. So, it won’t be surprising that he’s tired of it, and that is the case.

Moreover, he shared that he doesn’t like the pressure of “chasing algorithms” and doesn’t want to chase numbers like he once did. Instead, the 33-year-old now wants to make videos which he wants to do. This is another significant reason for him not uploading many videos.
