It was always Felix’s dream to live in Japan. In the video titled ‘it finally happened!’, Felix says, “For so long we doubted whether we could even make this move, and we went through all the ups and downs, and obviously it’s been a really long journey.” He further adds, “But I just really, really appreciate everyone who was supportive of us going … it just feels amazing to be here, finally.”

However, one of the contentions that lie here is about his YouTube career. It is very noticeable how Pewds has stopped uploading videos as he used to in the past 12 years. PewDiePie thinks many of his fans have already assumed that he is retiring. However, he throws more light on this move by speaking about his mental state of being.

Speaking of retiring, he says, “So far, I don’t feel like it. If anything, I want to keep making videos. Kind of the same way I have been, of sharing stuff that I feel like sharing, doing projects that I want to really do, and not just upload for the sake of uploading.”

Seems like Pewds has entered a stagnation from his job as a YouTuber. He adds, “Uploading daily for 12 years has been great, but I don’t want to do it for 12 years. As this seems like a sad way of living to me. I don’t know, there are other things I want to experience in life. I want to be here in Japan and not at the back of my mind worrying about an upload every single day.”
