YouTube icon MrBeast is probably one most influential people on the platform. He has been the most subscribed solo YouTuber for a while, still adding more followers every day. Naturally, fans want to meet the YouTube icon in person. And one fan actually did get to meet him in person. However, this simple interaction turned out to be an uncomfortable situation for the YouTuber.

Yet the YouTuber believed this situation to be a wholesome one overall. And he has shared the details of the encounter while sitting on a podcast with Colin and Samir.

MrBeast had an unexpected encounter with fans on his way to Antarctica

MrBeast recounted his travel to Antarctica with his team and Dream. While going there the team decided to take stay in Chile. MrBeast was traveling incognito in Chile and was hoping to go straight to the hotel in his disguise. But things didn’t go as planned and a fan recognized him.

The fan was a little kid who was a fan of the YouTuber. While the kid did not know English properly, he still watched MrBeast’s videos. After spotting him at the airport the kid was quick to ask for a photo with the YouTuber. However, this simple request from the fan caused a snowball effect at the airport.

When MrBeast stopped to have a picture with the little kid, the word got out and his team saw articles written about MrBeast being in Chile. The YouTuber recounted, “Now there’s like 200 people outside this hotel running up and down the hallways like knocking on doors trying to figure out which room me and Karl are in.”

The hotel suggested using security to keep people out of their rooms. MrBeast said, “I had to hire security to lock down this hotel because there are so many people.” And he faced another horde of people waiting at the airport for him when he was departing. People started surrounding him and it turned out to be an uncomfortable situation for him.
