In the character tease, Alhaitham is seen reading reference records and trying to understand the comprehensive nature of the world. He says, “The origins of writing are lost to time. And it is forbidden to investigate the genesis of language. But since their inception, these symbols have silently recorded everything the skies, the stars, the mountains, and the birds, conflict, peace, and people from all walks of life.”

He continues, “Words are strung together and edited. History made and archived for posterity. The Scribe records not only the truth but the questions it leaves unanswered…many of them will remain unanswered forever. The profoundest eternal questions are met only with a boundless and eternal silence.”

With a sheer curiosity for answers, Alhaitham enlightens us with mysteries. On an important note, one must appreciate Nazeeh Tarsha, the English dub voice, and Yuichiro Umehara, the Japanese dub voice of Alhaitham in Genshin Impact.
