The Last of Us television series, featuring Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, is being deemed one of the best shows that came to television this year. A portion of the credit for this acclaim goes to the amazing chemistry that the actors shared on the screen. In a recent interview, Bella revealed it wasn’t fabricated at all. 

Both Ramsey and Pascal were colleagues in a previous worldwide phenomenal show, The Game of Thrones. However, debuting in different parts of the story, which were seasons apart, Ramsey never got to meet Pascal on the sets of GOT. But TLOU finally gave her the chance to directly work with the Mandalorian actor. 

Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal’s chemistry in The Last of Us ‘wasn’t acting’

Recently Bella visited a British comedy chat show called “The Jonathan Ross Show.” In the interview, host and the writer of the show Jonathan Ross asked Bella Ramsey, “Pedro Pascal co-stars in the amazing The Last of Us with Bella and the two of you, I can’t imagine that isn’t real. That friendship that we see on the screens.”  

“It’s very real,” exclaimed Bella Ramsey. “Imagine if it’s all fake… that would be rough. That would be acting. That would be true acting,” shared Ransey, that in their time together on the sets of TLOU, the actors actually developed a bond, and everything that was shown on the show on screens was true. Both off camera and on camera.

Bella Ramsey Provides Release Window for Highly-Anticipated ‘The Last of Us’ Season 2

 “I love him. I miss him,” said Bella. After parting their ways, both Bella and Pedro missed each other terribly. Previously, Pedro Pascal had also shared that meeting Bella Ramsey was a blessing for him and he calls her ‘Bellie.’

“It was just a match made in heaven and I love her,” added the 47-year-old actor. Just like him, Ramsey also called her co-star by a cute nickname. She called him Pedge. “Our relationship definitely developed as Joel and Ellie’s relationship has,” said Bella Ramsey about the relationship that she had developed with Pedro Pascal while shooting such a violent and dark show that is The Last of Us.
