The Andrew Tate drama is not going to end anytime soon. The former kickboxer shows up in headlines now and then because of his controversial ideologies and statements. Further, the 40-year-old was banned from multiple social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook for the same.

Now it seems not only the man himself, but the people around him also have to face criticism. Recently, the G2 Esports’ owner Carlos “ocelote” Santiago was hanging out with the former kickboxer. Later, he had to meet a lot of criticism on the internet for being friends with Tate.

Carlos Santiago replies to criticism for being friends with Andrew Tate

The League of Legends team G2 Esports recently enjoyed victory at the LEC Summer 2022. So, the team celebrated the victory with their CEO and founder, Carlos Santiago. However, the G2 Esports owner uploaded a video on Twitter where he was joined by Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate in the celebration.

The video went viral online, and there is already a hate train going on for Tate for his controversial remarks. So, many started questioning Santiago’s morals for being friends with Andrew Tate. Many even advised him not to have any association with the former kickboxer.

However, Santiago proved himself to be a true friend to Andrew Tate. The G2 Esports owner responded to the criticism and clarified that he could be friends with anybody. He tweeted, “Nobody will ever be able to police my friendships. I draw my line here. I party with whoever the f**k I want.”

How did Twitter react to Santiago’s response?

Santiago’s response to critics gained a lot of attention from the fans. However, they have mixed reactions, as some agreed with his arguments. They claim that it’s okay for Santiago to be friends with anybody he wants. But then the other section also pointed out not to associate Tate with his businesses.

Some believe his Esports team might not like being linked with the controversial former kickboxer. Further, somebody also pointed out that Carlos knew he would get such a reaction from the audience on uploading that video.
