The animated movie is set to release on April 7, 2023. Chris Pratt will be voicing the character of Mario. And it’s none other than Jack Black, who has voiced Bowser. Bowser was the first one to get featured in the trailer video. Setting the action tone for the upcoming movie. While the fans are impressed with Jack’s impersonation of Bowser, he has admitted to contributing some of his “roots” to the character.
As reported by Nintendolife, the actor said, “Well, you know, I did bring some of my heavy metal roots because — in a way — Bowser is kind of like a heavy metal rockstar. You know, a big, strong, and scary rock star. And I did a little bit of rocking. I think you’ll be surprised to see that Bowser has a musical side. I’m thinking after the movie comes out I’m taking it to Broadway, there might be a one-man show.”
Thus, fans could see Jack Black enhancing the persona of Bowser, with an amazing “heavy metal” touch. And who knows, in what ways, the movie could unfold this creativity of his. And one has to patiently wait for the next year to see the end product of Jack’s personal touch.
