The beloved YouTuber, Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, shared how he had one of the most terrifying experiences of his life in the recently wrapped 37th annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The extra pazazz that was planned for making Jimmy’s entry much more interesting became his biggest fear. 

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is one of the biggest audience choice awards in the world. It bestows prominent figures in the entertainment industry, based on the public votes of the young demographic. In the ‘FAVORITE MALE CREATOR’ category, Jimmy was nominated and chosen as a winner.

Jimmy won the award for the second consecutive year. However, this year’s show will be a memorable instance of his life as it almost scared his life off. The organizers of the event didn’t pull any punches in making Jimmy’s appearance as spectacular as possible, but they had missed a little detail that gave him a great deal of fear.

The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is known for going over and beyond with their skits with celebrities. In their attempt to make Jimmy’s entrance a spectacle, the organizers planned to elevate jimmy to 40 feet above the ground and bring him down slowly to the stage when the host announced him.

But the organizers forget to keep it in the equation that Jimmy is terribly afraid of heights. In his Instagram story, Jimmy said that while the podium descended, he was holding the safety rod as if his life depends on it. “I’m so scared of heights, I was holding on to that pole for the dear life,” said Jimmy.

After winning the award, Jimmy posted on Instagram that he doesn’t care about accolades much, but he keeps visiting them because his mother likes to see him win. “Back to Back Blimps (not that it matters, awards are pointless. I just do this because my mom likes watching me win haha),” said jimmy on Instagram.
