Felix “xQc” Lengyel is one of the most popular streamers out there, known for being an amazing creator. Despite his popularity, though, the man has been left out of this year’s list of contenders for a huge honor.

In case any missed to keep track, the final list of nominees for 2022’s Streamer of the Year award was recently revealed. And coming up as a big shock, xQc’s name wasn’t there among other renowned creators.

xQc blames his laziness for not making it to the Streamer of the Year nominations

The upcoming award show is regarded as a huge event for all the content creators and gamers across the globe. Each year, the best person wins the Streamer of the Year title based on the votes of the fans.

Just a few days ago, Esports Awards‘ official account on Twitter revealed the full list of all the nominees for 2022. When xQc came to know about it, he decided to check it while doing a live stream. Felix scrolled through the list on a Reddit page and found out that he wasn’t nominated this year.

But Felix has no one but himself to blame as he revealed the reason why he couldn’t make it to the list. “I mean I was lazy this year, man, it is what it is. I f—ing fell off. It is what it is. I f—ing fell off boys. Ran the risk, plus lazy, plus ugly…”, he said during his live stream.

Simply put, xQc admits that he didn’t do enough work this time and, hence, was left out.

Meanwhile, talking about the final contenders, there are some known faces who are competing to win the ultimate honor. From DrDisrespect, and Valkyrae, to Asmongold, the overall nominations list is full of deserving individuals.
