The cast of DC’s latest superhero movie, Shazam 2, revealed the titles from which they couldn’t keep their hands off. These contain some of the biggest names in gaming, like Call of Duty, Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption, and the 2018 indie phenomenon Hades.

DC’s latest superhero movie, Shazam 2, hit the big screen on March 17, 2023. The movie is directed by David F. Sandberg, produced by Peter Safran, and written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. It featured the likes of Zachary Levi, Ross Butler, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, Helen Mirren, and many more in the main cast. 

In a recent interview at one of their promotional event, Jack Dylan, who played the role of Freddy Freeman, said he loves playing ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’, and ‘Skater XL’; he also revealed that he is a real-life skater. Asher Angel, who plays the teenage alter-ego of Billy Batson, said he is into online multiplayer titles such as Call of Duty, and sports games like Madden, NBA 2K, and such.

Factorio, Hogwarts Legacy, and Spiritfarer were some of the games mentioned by Ross Butler and Grace Caroline Currey. Zachary Levi, who plays the poster character of the movie, shared that he was addicted to Hades. “Last thing I was addicted to was Hades. I played that all the time. I played that non-stop while we shot this movie,” he said.

When will the sequel of the game that kept Shazam hooked to the screen release?

After the phenomenal success, both commercially and critically, The Devs at Supergiant Games announced their first-ever sequel, Hades 2. Being announced only two months ago, there hasn’t been any official release date yet by the devs. However Supergiant had revealed, fans will be getting to know a lot by the end of 2023. But ever since the announcement, fans have already started to speculate on my aspects of the game, such as which Gods may make their debut in the sequel.
